Dr. Thompson is Director of Client Services with Career Concepts, Inc., a management consultant firm providing a full spectrum services to both for-profit and non-profit clients. She brings over 20 years of experience in the field of individual and group dynamics to assist clients in achieving their professional and business goals.
EXECUTIVE AND LEADERSHIP COACHING
• Effectiveness as a leader requires a thorough understanding of personality and communication preferences as well as the traits that are the hallmarks of effective leadership. Using validated 3600 assessment tools and other personality instruments, Dr. Thompson provides feedback to clients aligning their personal goals with those of the organizations and supervisors. Clients develop a concrete understanding of their strengths in areas of leadership, management, team work, technical knowledge, and work life balance and are able to identify opportunities to practice new behaviors and gauge their progress. The result is positive behavioral change that is can be observed by supervisors and others often within three months.
ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTIONS
• Dr. Thompson specializes in customized approaches to systemic issues. Examples include: collaboration with senior administrators and nursing staff in an organizational change effort for a long term care facility, facilitating collaboration among nursing staff for quality in patient services in a hospital, and providing a series of interventions targeting improvement in profitability, customer service, and culture change for middle and top management in manufacturing environments.
